Diane, never drink coffee that has been anywhere near a fish.

Do y’all have any idea how long I’ve been waiting for this?

Years and years and years and years and years. It only got worse once Kyle MacLachlan’s creepy ass showed up on Sex and the City. Finally I can have nerdy Twin Peaks marathons that last more than seven episodes -hopefully in time for my next three-day weekend.

I dedicate the comments section to Twin Peaks nerdiness of all kinds. Quote me, trivia me, just don’t kidnap me and take me to One-Eyed Jack’s!

  1. this is the first thing to come along and seriously make me consider getting cable tv in my home.

but i won’t. i’ll just by the DVD when it’s out.

  2. Nezua, it’s out! It’s out on DVD RIGHT NOW! That’s what the link is for! Jump up and down with me!

Okay, as Dave nicely points out below, and Nezua was clearly alluding too above, I got too excited/confused by Amazon’s pre-order option. It’s out April 10th. That’s still awesome.

(ps in the middle of this at the moment, going to go back and read the rest of the series next. it’s brilliant!)

  3. Is this for real? They’ve been toying with me for years…what is the release date for Season 2? I have all of the episodes on VHS, but the DVD transfer for season one was so spectatular that I have been waiting with baited breath for season two to come out. TWIN PEAKS was the greatest show that was ever on television. I hope this is true!

  4. Oh, Amazon has a release date of April 10th! Coffee and pie, oh my! Hawk, please put on the kitchen mittens!

  5. Number one: I need to be in on this “Twin Peaks” marathon.

Number two: I just watched “Wild at Heart.” Wild, wild stuff.

Number three: “Inland Empire” is F’NG AMAZING! I caught it while in NYC, and, my God, the three hours of creepy experimentalization just fly by!

  6. Dude, you had never seen ‘Wild at Heart’ before? But that film represents a symbol of my individuality, and my belief in personal freedom!

You’re in for the marathon. Just buy some plane tickets and we’re all set.

  7. The funniest thing about “Inland Empire” is that none of it was actually filmed there. Oh, if they only knew the real I.E. lol. *groan*

I’ve still got to get season 1. I’ve been loving season 1 of St. Elsewhere which finally came out. So Twin Peaks would be a good one to follow up on.

  8. thanks petitpoussin, for readin’.

OH and wild at heart was my favorite for like ten years.

  9. hey, check my parody about his dialogs with Diane.
